“ Loved this place! Came here for Valentines dinner and it was a romantic and so yummy! The service was fast and our waitress was helpful and kind. We got the four cheese tortellini which was amazing, and the pesto chicken Mac was so good. Would recommend this place for a good night out! ”

“ We had a group of 7 come in for dinner for our parents' birthdays, and they were able to seat us right away. Service was really good, and the manager would come by and check on us and talk to us which was really nice too! I was kind of worried because of the reviews about how slow service was or how long it would take to get our food. I don't mind waiting a bit, but I don't really want to wait for an hour. Luckily that was not the case! Our appetizers came out within 15 minutes, and since they were out of the mussels they gave us a complimentary app to make up for it! We got to try the mushroom risotto croquet, calamari, and shrimp bruschetta. Our favorite was the calamari because it was cooked in the shape of mozzarella sticks, and the outer part was nice and crispy with some spicy mustard dip! As for the main course, I got the seabass with crab lumps on top and it came with cooked spinach and whipped potatoes. I really enjoyed my dish! The seabass did get a little salty, but with the whipped potatoes and crab it was perfect. My husband got the pork chops and said his was a little salty from pesto crust they used on top. Once he scraped a little bit of it off it was good! Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Bistros are not usually my type of restaurants, but I would say this was a great experience! I would recommend if you want to go on a cute little date night and then walk around Bricktown afterwards! ”

“ First time here and the cuisine was fantastic. The bread (just the right amount of softness) was paired with this excellent "Sicilian sauce" (tomatoes and spices) and also goes well with any soup, including the Lobster Bisque I ordered. I wanted to get the red wine and pear salad but they were out, so ordered the goat cheese salad instead - which was decent. The entree I got was also the ahi tuna with mushroom risotto and asparagus, which was excellent. I believe it was the owner/chef who dropped it off with me, remarking in French "Bon Appetit." Highly recommended! ”

“ My first time at Mantel. It's a very cozy, romantic atmosphere. It would be a great place for a date! The service I received was top tier. My waiter was really dialed into what I needed without being annoying. I had ordered a glass of Sirah. When the glass came I could instantly tell it was spoiled. Before I could even tell the waiter he came to me and said my glass was from a opened bottle & asked if it was okay. I said no! It's bad. He immediately opened a new bottle which was perfect. For dinner I got a blackened sea bass on a bed of sautéed spinach & whipped potatoes. All was excellent. I'll be back for sure!! ”

“ The place has a good menu with a variety of selections. Our server was friendly, and the service was good. However, we did wait like an hour for the food, and the restaurant wasn't busy. At some point, one of my friends wondered if the chef was okay and joked that we should ask if they needed help. I started with the French onion soup, and it was terrific--one of the best I've had. The soup overall has a nice rich and savory flavor. I also had the divers scallops with gruyere risotto and Brussel sprouts. Nothing wrong with the scallops, but I didn't like my sides. The risotto was cheesy and had a good consistency, but I wasn't fond of the taste. I don't think gruyere was the best to use in the risotto. And when it comes to Brussel sprouts, restaurants seem to char it to the point that it has a bitter taste. ”

“ The food was phenomenal on NYE. We had the surf n turf, salmon blinis, shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, cheesecake and choc gateau. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better meal. My steak was cooked medium well as I requested and was juicy and tender and seasoned well. My lobster was perfect as well, accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes and broccolini. Service was a little slow, but that was probably only because it was NYE and they were very busy. In fact, the time it took for us to get dessert after we finished our main course, felt extremely long. We felt they forgot about us because we saw others that came in after us get their food before us. Like I said, it was a holiday and they were slammed. I'd like to go back on a regular day and give their service another chance because their food is amazing. ”
